The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation announced today the launch of a new website for its premier cycling event, The Aptalis CF Cycle for Life.
Each year, thousands of cyclists come together to raise funds to find a cure for cystic fibrosis. The new website provides users with more powerful tools to fundraise
Enhanced features of the new website include:
- Quick and easy social media sharing via Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Display of top fundraisers and teams for each event.
- A new mobile app that allows cyclists to easily solicit donations via email, text and social media while on the go.
“We’re so grateful to all of the cyclists who help make this event a success,” said C. Richard Mattingly, executive vice president and chief operating officer of the CF Foundation. “The new site, with all of its enhanced features, will allow participants to make even more of a difference in the fight to find a cure.”
CF Cycle for Life features one-day bike tours held in dozens of U.S. cities throughout the summer and fall. In 2013, the event raised a total of nearly $4 million to help support life-saving research, care and education programs for CF.
