CF Foundation President & CEO Talks with Director of the National Institutes of Health

One of the most exciting presentations at the CF Foundation’s 23rd annual North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference this week in Minneapolis, Minn. was the conference’s keynote address by Francis S. Collins, M.D., Ph.D., director of the National Institutes of Health and co-discoverer of the gene responsible for CF.

After his talk at the first plenary session, Collins joined Robert J. Beall, Ph.D., president and CEO of the CF Foundation, to discuss the 20 year anniversary of the discovery of the CF gene, the exciting progress in CF research and drug development since the gene discovery and what the future holds for people with CF.
