Currently, H1N1 flu (swine flu) is receiving much attention in the news. H1N1 flu is contagious and is spreading from human to human. There are everyday actions that can help prevent the spread of germs that cause respiratory illnesses like the flu. The most important preventative measure is good hand hygiene either with soap and water or alcohol based hand sanitizers. Also, cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when coughing or sneezing then do good hand hygiene.
