Kevin Harvick Inc.'s  No. 33 truck wore a special paint scheme on Friday, May 19 at the Quaker Steak & Lube 200 NASCAR Truck Series race, reflecting the company's partnership with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. KHI and the Foundation worked together to raise funds for research programs to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis.

Hornaday, who started fourth and crossed the stripe in fifth position. It was Hornaday's best finish of the season!

Note: The May 16 "Fast Lane to a Cure" dinner and auction raised more than $110,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Special thanks to Kevin Harvick, Kevin Combs, Ron Hornaday and the entire KHI team for their support. The Foundation also would like to thank all of the fans who helped to raise more than $10,000 in the race helmet raffle.

Kevin Harvick, Inc. and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Work Together For A Cure

Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) has partnered with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to raise awareness and funds to support vital research and care programs by hosting "Fast Lane to a Cure," a dinner to be held on May 16 that will feature silent and live auctions, entertainment and a guest speaker. Three drivers from the KHI family will be in attendance at the event, including Burney Lamar, Ron Hornaday and Kevin Harvick. The dinner will benefit the vital research and care programs of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

 Nascar No. 33 Truck
Later that week, KHI will put their No. 33 race truck, driven by two-time NASCAR Truck Series champion Ron Hornaday, to good use; it will banner the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation logo under the lights of the Quaker Steak & Lube 200 race on May 19 at Lowe's Motor Speedway

Fans will have the opportunity to do their part to help the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation through an online raffle to be conducted on Kevin Harvick Inc.'s company website, www.kevinharvickinc.com, as well as Harvick's personal Web site, www.kevinharvick.com. Through May 20, 2006, fans can purchase raffle tickets to earn a chance to win the race helmet that will be worn by Ron Hornaday in the Quaker Steak & Lube 200 event at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. The helmet bears an exclusive design by Jason Beam created for the race. The helmet will be signed by driver Ron Hornaday as well as team owner Kevin and DeLana Harvick. Additionally, a pledge drive will take place during the race in which fans can donate money based on Hornaday's performance. (For example, fans can donate $1.00 per lap completed.)
