Preston W. Campbell, III, M.D., executive vice president for medical affairs, was quoted on the The Today Show on Dec. 18, during a segment called "What's in Your Genes?" The segment focused on how genetic testing can help would-be-parents identify serious genetic diseases before they become pregnant. Cystic fibrosis was one of the diseases mentioned, and Dr. Campbell points out that genetic testing for CF does not always identify every form of the disease, so further testing may be needed.
