CF Services Partners with drugstore.com to Launch Web Store

Cystic Fibrosis Services, Inc., has partnered with drugstore.com, Inc. to expand its current offerings to include a full range of over-the-counter products for purchase online. Through this partnership, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will receive a contribution equal to 10 percent of the sales generated through the new online store, which can be accessed at www.cfservicespharmacy.com by clicking on the “Over-the-Counter” tab.
“Cystic Fibrosis Services and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation are tremendous organizations that do so much good,” said Dawn Lepore, president and CEO of drugstore.com. “We are delighted that this strategic partnership will help to fund basic research and care for CF patients while introducing the CF community to the convenience and wide selection of products available on drugstore.com.”

Customers with CF can purchase all of their prescription medications from the Cystic Fibrosis Services Pharmacy's Web site and then go to the new co-branded over-the-counter store to conveniently purchase items for personal care, health and beauty needs. The entire CF community, as well as the general public, are encouraged to visit and make purchases at the over-the-counter store, since a portion of sales will be contributed to the CF Foundation. Customer benefits include:
- Convenience: Shop 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week from the comfort and privacy of their own home and have the benefit of home delivery.
- Selection: The Over-the-Counter Web store offers more than 28,000 products including hard-to-find items. The selection is much larger than brick-and-mortar drug stores, which are limited by shelf space.
- Valuable and relevant information: The online store features shopping guides, product comparisons, articles and additional product content.
- Shopping experience: Customers may take advantage of many features found on the "Over-the-Counter" store powered by drugstore.com, such as Auto Delivery for automatic delivery of items every 30, 45, 60, 90 or 180 days; Your List, which reminds customers what items they have previously purchased; and the FSA Store (flexible spending account) with more than 3,000 eligible products, FSA specific receipts for easy reimbursement or FSA debit cards for automatic reimbursement.
