Novartis Signs On as a Great Strides Partner
April 19, 2007
Expanding its commitment to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Novartis Pharmaceuticals, an innovative healthcare products company, recently signed on as a National Corporate Partner for Great Strides 2007. The company is dedicated to scientific research and new technologies.
Since FDA approval in 1997, thousands of people living with cystic fibrosis have benefited from the development of the Novartis drug, TOBI®, an aerosolized antibiotic designed to help prevent lung infections. Throughout the past decade, Novartis has continued to find new ways outside of the laboratory to support the Foundation’s mission. It has sponsored golf and fishing tournaments, dinner dances and wine openers at local chapters across the country. In becoming a National Corporate Partner, Novartis extends its generous support to help the Foundation and its volunteers record another successful year for Great Strides.
