Proud American Stands Behind Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Proud American, a new independent film about inspirational people across the United States, debuts nationwide starting September 12th. A portion of the proceeds from the film will go to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in its mission to help control and cure cystic fibrosis.

Presented by the Foundation’s Outstanding Corporate Partner American Airlines^®, Proud American weaves spectacular imagery, drama and humor into stories of real-life people with whom we can all identify. The movie is directed by Fred Ashman, CEO of Multi Image Productions, Inc., a longtime friend of the CF Foundation.

“For years, Multi Image has been producing videos for the American Airlines^® Celebrity Ski event benefiting the CF Foundation,” says Ashman. “I’ve come to admire the Foundation for the great strides they are making to help people with cystic fibrosis, and I’m proud that this film will support them in their quest for a cure.”

Richard Mattingly, executive vice president and chief operating officer of the CF Foundation. “This film also champions everyday people who accomplish great things.
