Witte rode through five states and 885 miles before arriving at his destination, the CF Foundation headquarters in Bethesda, Md.
Jason Witte completed a grueling, 885-mile bike tour to raise funds and awareness for cystic fibrosis, finishing the ride this afternoon at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s headquarters in Bethesda, Md.

Witte, whose twin sons Dylan and Tyler, 4, have CF, began his ride, “Adding Tomorrows,” in his hometown of St. Louis, Mo. Stopping only for sleep and sustenance, he biked more than 100 miles per day to finish the trip within eight days.

“Some days were too hot and the hills got really tough by the end of the day,” says Witte. “But Tyler, Dylan and my incredibly supportive family and friends helped me power through every mile.”
