May 13, 2009

In honor of National Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has been invited to ring the closing bell of the New York Stock Exchange today.

C. Richard Mattingly, executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, will join Donald Wood, president and CEO of Federal Realty Investment Trust, and Joshua Baker of BOWA Builders, Inc. as honored guests of the New York Stock Exchange.

"We are honored to take part in this tradition and grateful for the opportunity to raise awareness about cystic fibrosis" said Mattingly. "The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation continues to make remarkable advances in the search for a cure for this disease, and public awareness is vitally important - now more than ever."
