Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Awarded First Place in YouTube Nonprofit Video Contest

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has been awarded “best video” in the DoGooder YouTube Nonprofit Video Awards for the Large Nonprofit category. The annual contest is designed to recognize the creative and effective use of video among charitable organizations.

The Foundation’s video, “Adding Tomorrows,” is a portrait of three individuals who live with cystic fibrosis. It was selected as a finalist from more than 1,000 nonprofit entries, and received the most votes from the public in its category. Other Nonprofit Video Awards finalists include The Humane Society of the United States, UNICEF, and SPCA of Texas.

The video can be seen on the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/cysticfibrosisusa, and will appear on YouTube’s homepage on April 5.

As an award recipient, the Foundation will receive a cash donation and equipment from Cisco and will be featured on the YouTube homepage for 24 hours.

The Foundation’s video team was proud to collaborate with Run Riot Films on the creation of this video.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is an accredited charity of the Better Business Bureau.
