CF Foundation to Host Interactive Webcast on Infection Prevention and Control Policy

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will host a live, interactive webcast on its updated Infection Prevention and Control Policy for Foundation events, meetings and offices on Wednesday, March 27, 2 – 3 p.m. (Eastern time). The webcast is open to all interested members of the CF community.
The webcast will feature CF Foundation medical leaders as well as a national expert in CF infection prevention and control, who will provide an overview of the Foundation’s updated policy and the latest medical research that led to the recent changes. The group will also take questions from the audience.
Featured speakers are:
- Preston W. Campbell, III, M.D., executive vice president for medical affairs, CF Foundation
- Lisa Saiman, M.D., M.P.H., professor of clinical pediatrics, College of Physicians & Surgeons, Columbia University Medical Center
- Bruce C. Marshall, M.D., vice president of clinical affairs, CF Foundation
- Leslie Hazle, M.S., R.N., C.P.N., director of patient resources, CF Foundation
Members of the CF community are encouraged to submit questions they would like answered during the webcast when they register online. The panel will also take questions during the live webcast and will answer as many as possible.
