the beautiful terrace.
At the Northeast Texas Chapter -- Fort Worth Office’s Once Upon a Terrace tour in April, guests danced and dined on of some of Texas’s most unique verandas and raised more than $80,000 to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

The evening kicked off with a classy cocktail reception at the Rivercrest Country Club. More than one hundred guests embarked on their terrace tour through Westover Hills aboard San Francisco-style trolleys. The CF Foundation supporters enjoyed signature cocktails and culinary creations by local restaurateurs at four different homes. At each stop, guests danced to the tunes of talented jazz ensembles.

With an attractive assortment of prizes to bid for, the auction quickly became the highlight of the night. Sought-after prizes included deep sea fishing trip in Cabo San Lucas, diamond and black pearl jewelry, a luxurious vacation to San Miguel de Allende and a custom-built backyard playhouse.

“This event is so unique — it’s dazzling, but small and intimate. Not only do the guests feel they are visiting a friend’s house, but they also feel the closeness of being united in our cause to find a cure for CF,” said event co-chair Priscilla Hiley.

Special thanks go to Kelly and Jeff Dillard, Christine and Elton Hyder, Kathryn and Bryan King, and Kelly and Chip Wagner for opening up their terraces for this event.

The Fort Worth Chapter would also like to thank its sponsors:
