The New York Times Recognizes CF Foundation’s Pioneering Business Model

An article in the Nov. 11 issue of The New York Times credits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as an “instigator” in a movement to take charge of drug research for rare diseases. The story notes the CF Foundation and a growing number of disease organizations “operate with speed and urgency and a business model completely unlike the traditional foundation model.”
