After Susan Braden, a key volunteer at Wachovia, contacted Eric Lloyd, a managing director for Wachovia, about joining GREAT STRIDES, Lloyd knew he wanted to help. Already, the two were excited about helping their colleague, Peter Barry, whose son has CF. Together, they decided that getting their Wachovia colleagues involvement with GREAT STRIDES would be a rewarding experience for employees--one where teambuilding was emphasized and a friendly competition was endorsed.
