Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a devastating genetic disease that affects tens of thousands of children and young adults in the United States. Research and care supported by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is making a huge difference in extending the quality of life for those with CF. Alyssa's Angels is an organization started by caring students at Hobart Middle School three years ago to help raise awareness and money for Cystic Fibrosis to help current Hobart High School student Alyssa. Throughout the past three years we have been talking to students about CF and involving them in creative fund-raising ideas to help raise over $25,000! GREAT STRIDES is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest and most successful national fund-raising event. This year, we will be walking in the GREAT STRIDES walk at the Lake County Fairgrounds on May 17th. Please help us meet our fund-raising goal of $10,000 by sponsoring us.
