Dear Friends--

As some of you know, our friend Baby River was born with Cystic Fibrosis--a genetic disease that can be devastating. He is a gorgeous, happy and active little guy and one of Ava's best friends. His mom Amanda has been one of my closest friends for 15 (!) years and I was privileged to be present at his birth. Treatment for CF has progressed amazingly every decade--there is real hope for serious improvement for the quality and length of life and general health for these kids. Continued funding for research is critical and valuable.
