Dear family and friends,

As all of you already know, it's been one heck of a year!!! The day we found out Colton had Cystic Fibrosis, was one of the worst days of our lives. To know that this poor innocent child was going to have to go through worse things then either one of us has ever had to go through, was devestating, But now we are at a different point in our lives. Our "normal" is so different from what we ever thought it was going to be. Breathing treatments, endless lists of medications, doctors appointments, and of course, the need to get Colton to pack on the pounds! But through this all, there is one thing that gets us through it...Colton's wonderful personality! He truely is the light of our lives! Despite all of the speed bumps and hardships we have been through, Colton continues to astonish everyone he meets. His doctors are amazed at his continueing success and can't believe with all he has been through, how well he is doing. And due to the strong dedication of the CF team at Children's, Colton can continue to be a success story. Corey and I belive that there will be a cure in Colton's lifetime. This is a hope and a prayer that our families pray for each and every day. We are asking for your help to make this dream a reality. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is such a key part in the hope for a cure, and we would like to do everything we can to help give it the support that it needs.
