Dear family and friends, Our family would like to ask you to help with a very special request. We recently made a commitment to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to raise money to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis - CF - a life threatening genetic disease that has no cure. People with CF have a shortened life span and desperately want to find a cure for this disease. I made this commitment because I have two children with CF. Tyler is seventeen years old and Destiny is 10 years old. They are doing so well!!! Thank the Lord!!!! The Lord has truly blessed them. I am walking in honor of Tyler and Destiny. On April 25, 2009, I will be participating in the Great Strides walk and raising money and awareness for the CF Foundation. As a participant, I have made a commitment to raise $2000.00. Here is where my special request comes in. I am asking you to help me meet and exceed this goal by making a generous donation that will support the research and care program for the CF Foundation and help find a cure for Tyler and Destiny. They and 30,000 others need our help. It is important for you to know that the CF Foundation is a very efficient organization and 88 cents of every dollar of revenue raised is used to support CF research care and education. Please consider donating $200, $100, $50, or any amount you can afford. Even better, please distribute this to your Churches, schools, and places of employment to raise as much as you can, as we are doing. Please make checks payable to the ‘Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’. I would like to raise the money by April 24; however, I will gladly accept any donations after that date as well. Any amount that you can donate will be greatly appreciated, and all contributions are 100% tax deductible.
