Dear Family and Friends,

On October 5, 2008, I lost my sister, Shannon, to Cystic Fibrosis (CF). My sister Lindy continues to courageously fight this disease as a devoted wife and mother. My determination to fight this disease has intensified and I invite you to join me and my family in that fight as we raise money to cure Cystic Fibrosis.

In recent years, my family and I have supported the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's (CFF) national fund-raising event Great Strides. This year, on April 18th, my brother Jerel and Shannon's husband Paul will be participating in the Salt Lake City Marathon in honor of Shannon and raise funds for the CFF. I will be running the half marathon and other family members will be running the 5k. Those not running will be cheering them on! We are united as a family in our efforts to honor Shannon, raise much needed funds for research and raise awareness.

We are asking for your support, once again, to help fund research and improve the quality of life for everyone fighting Cystic Fibrosis. Last year, we were successful in reaching our goal and raised $10,000! This year, we want to raise $15,000! We know we can be successful with your help.
