Five years ago, Paige was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis (CF). CF is a genetic disease that causes Paige's body to produce too much mucus. This tenacious mucus painfully “clogs” and impairs almost every organ in her body.
Today, statistics say Paul and I will likely outlive Paige. But with your help, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) is convinced we can “defy the odds!” The CFF uses $.90 out of every dollar to fund its vital research program. In five short years, this research program has produced new, life-changing therapies that have already given Paige a brighter future.
This year, team WALK FOR PAIGE is heading downtown St Paul on Sunday, May 16th to participate in GREAT STRIDES - the CFF's largest fundraising event of the year. Your kids, pets, friends, neighbors and coworkers will enjoy this scenic 2 mile stroll, so please join our team and help the CFF get one step closer to finding a cure! Our team will meet in front of the Capitol (look for the WALK FOR PAIGE banner) at 12:00 pm, and all walkers will receive a team t-shirt.
If you are unable to walk, please consider making a tax deductible donation to support our team! Donations may be made online, or sent to us at: 10521 Alamo Street NE, Blaine, MN 55449. Make checks payable to CFF.
Thank you for giving us hope, Paul, Jill, Paige and Brooke Christensen
