Personal Image Aside from being smarter and better looking, Nolan is like most every other two and a half year old boy. He thinks his big sister is the world, but still relentlessly aggravates her. He loves his baby brother, but still isn't quite sure what to do with him. And as weird as mom and dad are, he puts up with them too. Nolan is different though, he has Cystic Fibrosis.

Nolan doesn't let his CF slow him down though, he hits the ground running when he rolls out of bed and I'm not sure he ever stops, except for twice a day when he does his therapy or "shake shakes." This therapy along with a nebulizer treatment has been vital to keeping Nolan on the healthy list for over the past year. Nolan is also in the 70th percentile on height and weight. He has to eat his "pills," which are enzymes before every meal or snack so that he can digest it, but like the shake shakes, it's just part of the day.

For the last two years we have participated in the Great Strides Walk in Charlottesville, VA with many of you there with us. This is the largest fund raising event that the CF Foundation does. Last year, Team Nolan raised just under $5000. We need to blow that out of the water this year. We want your help, donate, or better yet, sign up to come walk and raise some money. Nolan is healthy because of the research that organizations like the CF Foundation have done. Nolan is healthy because people like you gave a bit of money or a bit of time. Let's keep it going and make CF stand for Cure Found.

I thank you and everyone in our family does as well.

GREAT STRIDES is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest and most successful national fund-raising event. This year, I'm walking in the GREAT STRIDES walk at the 2010 Charlottesville - Lee Park walk on 05/15/2010. Please help me meet my fund-raising goal of $3,000.00 by sponsoring me. Your generous gift will be used efficiently and effectively, as nearly 90 cents of every dollar of revenue raised is available for investment in vital CF programs to support research, care and education.

Making a donation is easy and secure! Just click the "Click to Donate" button on this page to go to make a donation that will be credited to my team. Any amount you can donate is greatly appreciated!

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a devastating genetic disease that affects tens of thousands of children and young adults in the United States. Research and care supported by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is making a huge difference in extending the quality of life for those with CF. However, we continue to lose precious lives to CF every day. That's why your help is needed now more than ever to ensure that a cure is found sooner - rather than later. To learn more about CF and the CF Foundation, visit www.cff.org.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those with CF! Thank you for supporting the mission of the CF Foundation and GREAT STRIDES!

Below is a list of donors who have donated to support me. Thanks to everyone for your support!
