Dear Friends and Family: it's that time of year again!!! I absolutely, positively HATE asking for money, and I LOVE my son so much that I will do what it takes to help his cause. If it weren't for the medications that have been developed in the last few years, Hayden wouldn't have survived his month-long stay in the hospital in April of '05. Medications like Albuterol, Pulmozyme,Tobi , Periactin, Prevacid and Creon helped bring Hayden back to life, and continue to help his lungs and digestive system function daily. Today he is an energetic, funny, curious almost four year-old, who lights up our world!

I will be walking on May 15, 2010 in Grand Rapids. I would like our team to raise $2,000.00 this year. In our second year,we raised $3268.27, almost triple what we raised our first year, thanks to all of you who donated!!!! Last year we didn't raise quite as much, but I also didn't put much effort in as I was dealing with other issues. I hope to raise more than the past 4 years in'10. Where does the money go? 90 cents of every dollar goes to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation funds for research and programs to help find a cure for CF. When the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was started nearly 5 decades ago, children with CF were not expected to see their first day of Kindergarten. Today, more than 40% of the CF population is over the age of 18. Please help Hayden and others like him live to be grannies and grandpops.
