Last year I started my page with a cool story about how awesome Nolan is and how well he is doing. He is awesome and he is doing well, but that's not really why we're here right now is it? We are here because we need everyone we can to give up a few bucks so that Nolan and thirty thousand other kids can STAY awesome and healthy. We don't have any pink ribbons or celebrity spokespeople. We don't get billing as any cause celebre. Most people haven't a clue as to what CF is, I still don't know half of it, but I DO know that with the help of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation therapies that could help my boy live past me are a reality.

This year money is tight, I get it. No one is asking for you to fast for a week or make your kids sleep in a box. Buy the generic soap, get the $3 wine from Whole Foods, skip your double caramel skinny no whip soy faux creme quad latte, just pony up some cheddar so that these kids can BREATHE.
