Dear Family and Friends,

As you may know, my sister Marchet and her husband Jacob Butler have a 4-year-old boy with cystic fibrosis (CF). The Butlers have put together a video about their CF story. I hope you will be touched by their experience. http://vimeo.com/23843147

As Peter's aunt, there is nothing I would like more than to have the chance to watch Peter grow up, get married, and have a family of his own. With thousands of dollars of treatments, medications, and surgeries under his belt, Peter is doing well. My hope is that by the time Peter reaches adulthood, there will be a cure. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has made incredible progress in the last 20 years helping those with CF lead longer, healthier lives.

This year, I have joined their national team of walkers, Peter's Pavement Pounders, for the Great Strides CF walk on June 4th, 9am at Spencer Park in Sioux Falls, SD. The funds we raise for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will help find new treatments, medication, even a cure for Peter!
