Video Montage created to share the life of my brother with my fellow team members, donors, sponsors, etc. We miss him deeply and fight to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis to help fund the research to find a cure for this disease. In hopes that other families don't have to endure the loss of a son, brother, husband, uncle, and friend. (Please mute the playlist below before playing)

2011 was a busy year for me and I was unable to fundraise as much as I have in years past! 2012 marks the 1st year that I, along with my family, (husband) Drew and (son) Luke, will walk together and fundraise in hopes to raise $500.00 for CFF, Great Strides, and Jeff's Entourage!

Not a day goes by that I don't wish that he was here, to know my husband and love on his nephew. I do feel his presence all around me, and pray that one day we will meet again!

We lost my brother to his fight against CF in September of 2000. He was diagnosed at a month old in 1974, and I remember at a very young age being told that "Bubba" (as Mandy and I called him) was different than us. I never saw this and for that matter understood it, even to this day. He was the most amazing person I have ever met. Caring, Loyal, Funny, Earthly, are just a few words that I would use to describe Bubba. We all were well educated about CF and what the outcome could be, but I never wanted to believe that it would ultimately take him from us. He made a promise to Mandy and I that he would be there the day we graduated from high school, and as you can see by the picture, he was. I remember making the walk to the stage and seeing his smiling face front row with camera in hand, and it was one of the greatest moments of my life.

My brother blessed us all with his courage and commitment towards finding the cure for this disease, and we walk in Great Strides in his honor and to help towards finding the cure for those who fight daily with this disease. When I have had a hard day and missing him more then ever; I look to the lyrics of one of Bubba's favorite songs by The Nixons, and one that he also, dedicated to our family. After hearing it, I know that he is still with us looking down and guiding us through our own journeys in life.
