Great Strides is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest and most successful national fundraising event. This year, I'm walking in the Great Strides walk at Verona Park on May 8th. I am walking with the Sisters for Hope team in memory of Nikki Garcia and her sister Rosie, students at my school, Ridge Street School. Nikki passed away this past September at age 13 from complications from CF and her sister Rosie who also has CF is a typical 5th grader. Whatever gift you can give will be used efficiently and effectively, as nearly 90 cents of every dollar of revenue raised is available for investment in vital CF programs to support research, care and education. Please help to find a cure for Rosie and for all the others affected by this devastating disease.
