Event Overview

 VIP sold out, there is a limited number of general tickets available.  Please contact the chapter office (216-292-4437) no later than 10:00am on Friday, October 8th, 2010 to check availability.  This event is close to selling out and therefore there is no guarantee that tickets will still be available for purchase at the door.  Staff will not be available to retreive phone messages after 10am.

From wine novices to advanced wine enthusiasts, The Wine Opener is a casual and fun evening for all experience levels! Sip Great Wines and Savor Great Cuisine presented at festive tasting stations, where the area's hottest chefs prepare their specialties just for you. Along with delicious food and wine pairings, guests will be treated to lively auctions and entertainment by The Girls Band.

The Wine Opener is a national wine tasting series to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Held in more than 35 cities, from San Diego to Miami, The Wine Opener will reach an audience of thousands nationwide. Locally, the Cleveland Wine Opener will be a relaxed, yet lively, evening for more than 550 expected guests.

Ticket: $60 ($40 tax deductible)
Includes all food and wine tastings, a keepsake tasting glass and journal.

VIP Ticket: $110 ($70 tax deductible)
Includes all benefits of the general ticket PLUS an exclusive pre-event wine tasting, VIP access throughout the evening and a unique gift item.

Important note on attendance for people with CF and their families:
The health and well-being of people with cystic fibrosis is our top priority. Medical evidence shows that certain bacteria can be passed between individuals who have CF and can lead to worse symptoms and speed decline in lung function. To limit the serious risk of cross-infection between people with CF, only one person with CF may be invited to attend the indoor portion of each CF Foundation-sponsored event.  For the outdoor portion of the event, people with CF should maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from each other.

Please note: People with CF and their families should be aware that individuals with CF might choose to attend Foundation events or meetings without notifying event organizers. We strongly discourage this; however, we cannot guarantee that only one person with CF will be present at any indoor Foundation event. For more information, please call your local chapter.
