| The 2008 Sports Challenge is a half-day contest of mini-Olympic style events, where corporate sponsored teams compete head-to-head to win awards and the coveted ‘Traveling Trophy,’ all while raising funds to support the mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation! Contributions from Sports Challenge provide for medical research, specialized care clinics, and programs that impart a better quality of life for thousands of people with cystic fibrosis (CF) and, ultimately, search for a cure. More than 90 cents of each dollar donated goes toward CF medical research and care centers, such as the one at Dell Children’s Hospital of Austin and Scott & White Hospital in Temple. The estimated tax-deductible amount for a Sports Challenge team is $520.00. |
