TDN Coordinating Center

The Therapeutics Development Network Coordinating Center (TDNCC), based at Seattle Children’s Research Institute, serves as the hub for network communications, site training and CF study conduct.

Unique Expertise

Since the inception of the network in 1998, the TDNCC has helped facilitate over 100 studies in CF. We have collaborated on academic and industry studies with a broad range of sponsors and funding agencies, including multinational corporations, biotech startups, CFFT and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

As a result, we have developed significant expertise in the many unique aspects of CF study design, implementation and analysis — experience that has helped move therapies from early development through to U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval.

Utilizing TDNCC expertise to plan and conduct CF clinical trials increases their quality and efficiency. We help investigators and sponsors make the best use of valuable patient and research team resources to accelerate development of new therapies for people with CF.

A Dedicated Team

The TDNCC team is made up of clinical and scientific personnel who specialize in CF studies. Each member of our senior leadership group has at least 10 years of CF clinical research experience.

Clinical Development and Study Planning

The TDN Consulting Services Program, coordinated by the TDNCC, can be used to leverage network expertise on all aspects of the clinical development and study planning process.

The TDNCC also coordinates the TDN protocol review process, which allows industry sponsors and investigators to receive valuable feedback on the study design and feasibility of their multicenter protocols.

Collaborative Pre-Award Support

For academic investigators seeking grant funding, the TDNCC offers collaborative support on pre-award activities such as study budgeting and grant document preparation as well as study design and planning.

Study Support Services

When the time comes for study implementation, the TDNCC offers a full range of collaborative services required for both industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated CF multicenter studies. These include:

We can easily tailor our offerings to meet the specific needs of each study. Let us know how we can best help you.
