Lea was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at 3 years. She earned her bachelor's degree in Biology from Mount Saint Mary's University, and a bachelor's degree in Nursing from Johns Hopkins Univeristy. Lea works as an infusion nurse and volunteers as the national ambassador for Great Strides, the co-chair of Baltimore Great Strides, and CF ambassador for the CF Foundation Maryland Chapter. December 2018 -- We were deeply saddened to learn of Lea's passing. Lea was involved with the CF Foundation in many capacities. She served as a 2017 national Great Strides ambassador, co-chaired her local chapter's Great Strides walk, and shared her heart to the CF community through the CF Community Blog. She will be missed by many.
