I had so much fun meeting Stacy’s friends and family on this shoot. Not only are they super supportive, but they’re really funny too!

In this “Living Today” film shoot, I felt incredibly honored to be tagging along with Stacy, 28, and her parents to go bridal dress shopping. Little did I know, I was about to experience a whirlwind of emotions as Stacy tried on wedding gowns for the first time since her engagement to Danny, the love of her life.

For anyone, this is an incredible moment, but for Stacy and her parents it's more than just the beauty of finding “the one.” It's also about her living past what her parents were told her life expectancy would be when she was born -- 18 years. Advancements in cystic fibrosis medicine and research have given Stacy the chance to have a future, to follow her dreams and get married -- things that Stacy and her parents thought she would be unable to do.

Be prepared, because this story is about to make you feel all tingly inside.

A special thanks to Laurel Mungo, owner of Mon Amie Bridal Salon, in Costa Mesa, Calif.
