Major Giving
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's mission is to cure cystic fibrosis and help people with CF lead long, fulfilling lives by funding innovative research. Many of the Foundation's achievements -- including advances in CF care, the establishment of the Therapeutics Development Network, and groundbreaking research that has resulted in two therapies that target the underlying cause of the disease -- were supported by major giving donors. Over the past 10 years, major gift donors have contributed over $257 million to the CF Foundation.
While we have made incredible progress, the road ahead is a long and costly one. Over the past 25 years alone, it has taken almost $3 billion for the Foundation and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Therapeutics Inc., the Foundation's nonprofit drug discovery and development affiliate, to achieve the results we have today, including dramatic improvement in median predicted survival age. Finding a cure for all people with CF will continue to require significant medical investment for years to come.
Within our portfolio of giving opportunities, the CF Foundation relies on major gifts from individuals and family foundations that directly support our mission. You can participate by giving an outright gift of $10,000 or more in stock or cash in any calendar year, or by making a pledge to be paid over three to five years.

Legacy Giving
When you make a legacy gift, you are demonstrating your commitment to the CF Foundation's mission and helping to make longer lives possible for people with CF. The Foundation is dedicated to working with donors who are considering or who have made plans to leave a gift in their will, trust, or by beneficiary designation. Your gift can be made in honor or memory of someone and deepens your commitment to improving the lives of those with CF now and in the future. You can also become a member of the Paul di Sant'Agnese Legacy Society.
