PTI-808 (alone and in combination)
Restore CFTR Function
PTI-808 is a type of CFTR modulator called a potentiator. Potentiators help facilitate the opening of the chloride channel on the cell surface to allow chloride and sodium (salt) to move in and out of the cell.
PTI-808 is currently being studied both alone as well as in combination with two other CFTR modulators, PTI-801 and PTI-428.
A phase 2 study is currently underway to test the safety and tolerability of PTI-808, as well as PTI-808 combined with PTI-428 and PTI-801.
This program is sponsored by Proteostasis Therapeutics. It is being conducted through the Therapeutics Development Network.
