On July 8, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was mentioned in a New York Times article about the role of philanthropy in medical research. The Times recognized the role that the Foundation has played in the development of our CF drug pipeline and noted that we have invested more than $100 million in drug development in the last few years. "The foundation has played some role in virtually all of the nearly 30 drugs in development for the disease," the story noted.
