Summer Advocacy Campaign Connects CF Community with Congress

In August, CF Advocates visited their representatives in the U.S. House as part of the CF Foundation's first ever national summer advocacy campaign, “House Calls.”

“I told my congressman about all of the things I have to do every day to keep my lungs healthy,” said 11-year-old Will Corcoran, after meeting with Representative Chris Shays [R-CT]. “He was very interested in learning about cystic fibrosis, and said I could call his office anytime if there was something he could do for people with CF.”
