We are pleased to announce the 2022 Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Research Conference. This conference is directed toward basic scientists, clinical researchers, pharmaceutical company representatives, and trainees in cystic fibrosis research.

The goal is to bridge the latest advances in basic research with therapeutic discovery and development of new treatments to improve the lives of people with CF worldwide. The conference will focus on a broad array of topics including:  

• The landscape of CFTR modulators and approaches for restoration of CFTR variants that are nonresponsive to existing modulator therapies
• Development of novel therapeutic approaches, such as gene editing and nucleic acid delivery, to restore proper CFTR function in all individuals with CF
• CF complications, including infection, inflammation, and extrapulmonary manifestations, that are currently unaddressed (or not well managed) in the CF population
• The changing landscape of CF physiology for people with CF on modulators

To foster a highly interactive environment throughout the conference, attendance will be limited to approximately 200 participants. In the event that interest exceeds the number of slots available, applicants who submit abstracts on topics that are being covered at the meeting will be prioritized.

The registration fees include lodging and meals (Sunday through Friday) and shuttle transportation between the airport and venue (airport to venue: Sunday, June 26; venue to airport: Friday, July 1).
