As a public policy specialist at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Rachel focused on federal policies from Congress and federal agencies such as the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the National Institutes of Health and the Food and Drug Administration. She reviewed and analyzed laws and regulations to assess how they may have affected CF research and access to care for those with CF, and worked with her team to ensure the strong voice of the CF community is heard in Congress. Rachel hails from New Orleans, La., and prior to joining the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, she studied behavioral genetics and creative writing at Washington University in St. Louis.
