CFTR Chemical Compound Program

The goal of the CFTR Chemical Compound program is to enable cystic fibrosis research scientists to test known cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) modulating compounds in different functional assays.

Overview of the Ordering Process

The CFTR Chemical Compound Distribution Program is sponsored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Therapeutics Lab in Lexington, Mass.

Scientists are expected to share their experiences in working with the compounds for the general benefit of the community and in service of the Foundation's mission to find the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis.

Compounds can be requested from the CF Foundation Therapeutics Lab by filling out the Material Transfer Request form. Once submitted, a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) will need to be established before compounds will be distributed. Please note, if you previously requested compounds when they were administered by Rosalind Franklin University, then a new MTA with the CF Foundation will still need to be established.

The list of the available chemical compounds is subject to change based on request frequency and usage.

Please contact Stephanie Cantu at scantu@cff.org or Feng Liang at fliang@cff.org with any questions.
