Why Work at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation?

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the world's leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis. We are a people-centered organization that offers a unifying mission that guides our work, generous benefits, and rewarding career opportunities across multiple disciplines.

A Message From Our Chief People Officer
Yvonne Massenburg Headshot

As the Chief People Officer for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, I have the privilege of leading the “people” function for our mission-driven organization. Since its founding nearly 75 years ago, the Foundation has innovated to transform the lives of people with CF. To catalyze life-changing treatments, we’ve built robust scientific infrastructure and pioneered venture philanthropy. To provide high-quality, specialized care for CF, we’ve developed an accredited network of care centers nationwide. To support and connect people with CF, we’ve shaped programs and operations to meet essential needs. All this progress happens in partnership with the CF community.

And we have so much more to do.

We strive to be an inclusive organization where staff are united in our mission. We’re committed to fostering an environment where talented individuals from all backgrounds and lived experiences have the opportunity to thrive. We firmly believe in inclusion, growth, and engagement. Every member of our leadership team works to facilitate a culture where all employees feel they belong, are valued, and have opportunities to do challenging and interesting work and professional growth. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is a mission-driven organization with rewarding career opportunities across the United States. I invite you to learn more about the Foundation.
