Foundation and Metabolon Collaborate to Unlock Biochemical Processes in CF
Aug. 1, 2008 | 1 min read

The CF Foundation is collaborating with Metabolon, Inc. to help bridge the gap between laboratory findings and the development of potential CF treatments. Metabolon will work with Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Therapeutics, the nonprofit affiliate of the Foundation, in a series of studies examining the chemical reactions that occur at the cellular level in CF.

Metabolon will analyze the basic mechanisms of CF to help discover markers and pathways associated with disease progression and drug action.

The Foundation hopes to gain further insight into the basic mechanisms of CF and uncover new opportunities for drug development.
