CF Clinical Trials Network Praised by The Columbus Dispatch

A column in The Columbus Dispatch recognizes the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Therapeutics Development Network and its impact on treating children with rare diseases. The clinical trials network has been “very successful in shaping the care of children” and “markedly improving life spans,” the story says. The network has served as a model for many other pediatric research networks, including inflammatory-bowel disease, heart disease, critical care, and emergency department care.
