The Foundation's Compass program -- which helps people navigate insurance, financial, legal, and other issues they face -- is standing by in the wake of Hurricane Irma. Dedicated CF Foundation case managers -- who speak English and Spanish -- are ready to work with those impacted, one-on-one. We also continue to help victims of Hurricane Harvey.

Compass has developed a Disaster and Emergency Preparedness Plan that we encourage all those impacted by these storms to tap into for tips and support.

Compass is available to anyone with CF, their family, and their care team, regardless of income or insurance status, and is free and confidential. Specifically, Compass is helping people get emergency access to medications and medical devices that were left behind, lost, or damaged.

To contact Compass, call 844-COMPASS (844-266-7277) or email compassdisasterteam@cff.org.

Our team also works to get vital information and answers to common questions by connecting directly with relief organizations on the ground. In addition, the Foundation is in close communication with care centers in Texas as well as Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina, to help ensure continuation of care as those affected are relocated to other areas. We will continue to provide updates and information as events unfold.
