The Clinical Trial Navigator is a designated person who provides one-on-one assistance to people with CF and their families who have questions about clinical trials. When you reach out to the Clinical Trial Navigator, they can:

  • Help you understand the clinical trial process
  • Answer your questions about trial participation, including topics like safety, travel, and expenses
  • Assist you in using the Clinical Trial Finder
  • Provide personalized reports of clinical trials you may be eligible for and interested in
  • Facilitate contact between you and the research coordinator at a research site to learn more about a specific trial opportunity and identify next steps
  • Share other tools and resources

Disclosures

The clinical trial navigator may gather personal information required to assist you with your clinical trial needs. Assistance with a clinical trial referral may require disclosure of personal information, including basic health information, to the research team conducting the clinical trial. If needed, the clinical trial navigator may also coordinate with individuals at your care center to obtain information about your care. De-identified, aggregated information may be used internally to improve future services.
