The Kontos Award, created in 2014, recognizes the contributions of nonphysician members of a care team who demonstrate a passion for excellence and commitment to care of individuals with cystic fibrosis.
The intent of this request for applications is to solicit and fund projects that will improve our understanding of the biological basis for the development and progression of gastrointestinal manifestations in cystic fibrosis as well as to identify potential novel therapeutic strategies to manage and treat them.
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation accepts donations from biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies in the form of unrestricted contributions and corporate sponsorships for fundraising events. The Foundation may also receive revenue from Industry companies pursuant to contractual terms for arm’s length transactions.
